Digital Painting Services provided by Story Keeper Studio Online

What the Client Is Buying
Custom digital painting created from a client-provided photograph
Artistic interpretation, not exact photographic replication
Final product type depends on the package purchased, but may include
digital file only
printed artwork
framed artwork
canvas
optional add-ons
Each artwork is a custom artistic interpretation in my signature style and not an exact recreation of the source image.
Source Photo Requirements
State:
Sources photos must be a minimum of 3 megapixels in size
blurry/dark/low-resolution photos may limit results
screenshots/social media downloads may not be suitable
artist may reject unsuitable images
Final artwork quality depends heavily on the quality of the submitted reference image.
Client Ownership / Permission
Client confirms
they own the photo OR
they have legal permission to use it
Photos submitted by clients must not be
stolen professional photos
copyrighted celebrity images without rights
commercial brand images without permission
By submitting an image, the client confirms they own the rights to the image or have permission to authorize its use.
Artistic Control
Story Keeper Studio Online has artistic control over the digital painting that are essential for custom artwork. Client agrees that
composition changes may be made
background removal/addition may happen
colors may be adjusted
distractions may be removed
artistic enhancements are at Story Keeper Studio Online’s discretion
Story Keeper Studio Online retains creative discretion regarding composition, color interpretation, detail emphasis, and artistic enhancements.
Revision Policy
One minor revision is included with the client's purchase. A revision must be requested within 24 hours of Story Keeper Studio Online emailing the client the final painting.

Not included:
changing pose
replacing subjects
changing entire concept
changing artistic style
Revision requests that materially alter the approved concept are treated as a new commission.
Turnaround Time
Digital paintings are estimated to be completed 2 to 3 weeks after both the source photo and payment in full are received. This timeline is NOT guaranteed, but is the average turnaround time. Story Keeper Studio Online is not responsible for delays in shipping and times of high volume may increase the time to complete a project.
Turnaround estimates are approximate and begin once all required materials and payment are received.
Payment Terms
All custom commissions require payment in full before work begins.By purchasing a custom commission, the client acknowledges the custom nature of the work and agrees to resolve concerns directly prior to initiating a payment dispute.
Refund / Cancellation Policy
Client has 24 hours to cancel their commission for a partial refund of the amount paid, less bank and administrative fees.
Digital File Usage Rights
Artwork is licensed for personal use only unless commercial licensing is purchased separately.

Artist Copyright
All artwork remains the intellectual property of the artist unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Portfolio / Marketing Use
The artist reserves the right to display completed work for promotional and portfolio purposes unless otherwise agreed. To opt out of social media/marketing use, send an email to katie@panosproductions.net
Print Color / Display Disclaimer

Shipping / Damage / Lost Packages
If your package includes a professional print:
production timelines may exceed 3 weeks
shipping estimates are about 10 business days
not responsible for carrier delays
damage reporting must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
Limitation of Liability
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the commission.
Memorial / Sensitive Subject Clause
emotional interpretation is subjective
likeness is artistic, not forensic
AI / Filter Clarification
This is custom artist-created digital artwork, not an automated AI filter or one-click app effect.
Communication Deadline Clause
If the client becomes unresponsive for 10 business days the project may be considered abandoned.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by California law.
